Count me as one of the people sick to death of the Gotye song.

Also (re: Peter Gabriel), Alissa as you already know, I fully endorse any use of prog rock in your future episodes.

Splendid show!

I get great enjoyment from the natural sound effects that seem to accompany Alissa in every episode. From neighbours pounding on doors, to birds, to library announcements, to sirens, it all adds to the atmosphere! I am looking forward to a future ASR Show recorded live from the Rockton African Lion Safari!

Thank you very much for humouring me with the whistling tunes. While some of the songs from my picks have not aged gracefully, at least the whistling parts have held up well.

So sad that Otis Redding died just three days after recording "Dock of the Bay". He was only in his twenties.

Noticed that a photograph of Red Skelton whistling introduced this episode on the website.

Thought I heard Allisa say she had celebrated an "Illicit Day". Upon replay it turned out to be an "Allisa Day". Phew.

In Drummondville why is red fescue permitted but not red tomatoes?

Thank you both!

p.s. would love to hear your reactions to the summer olympics.
